Nice honor for a local kid who helped save the city’s QMJHL team from relocation.
Sean Couturier is getting a street named after him in his hometown of Bathurst, New Brunswick, Canada.
The Flyers forward is a minority owner of the QMJHL’s Acadie-Bathurst Titan, and the street leading to the team’s home arena will be named after him. You can catch Titan games at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre down on l’avenue Sean Couturier from now on.
Couturier is just one of 28 or so investors who invested a total of $3 million into the team back in 2013, saving the team from relocation.
