After hurting his head during Thursday’s 4-0 loss to the visiting Edmonton Oilers, Flyers forward Brayden Schenn is confident that he can play in tonight’s matchup with Columbus at the Wells Fargo Center.
Schenn hit his head on the ice during a scrum with 12 minutes and 44 seconds left in the third period. He stayed in the game until missing the final 6:07.
Schenn wasn’t on the ice for Friday’s optional workout.
"It’s funny, you (sometimes) don’t get clipped that hard and you get a headache and sometimes you get a big whack like that and feel lucky to be feeling good,” Schenn said following the Flyers morning skate at the Skate Zone.
