Coming off an eventful Trade Deadline that saw forward Wayne Simmonds get traded to the Nashville Predators, the Philadelphia Flyers will now play host to the Buffalo Sabres in their final regular season matchup this year.
Both of these teams are clinging on to their playoff hopes in the Eastern Conference and obviously won’t want to lose any more ground to keep those hopes alive. Buffalo has had a rough go of it lately, though, losing five of their last six games. The Flyers cannot let a down on their luck Sabres squad gain any confidence, as players like Jack Eichel and Jeff Skinner can take a game over at any moments notice.
