Elliotte Friedman reported late Saturday night that the Philadelphia Flyers were working on a trade to send Tony DeAngelo to the Carolina Hurricanes.
In the midst of all the news surrounding a potential blockbuster trade between the St. Louis Blues and Philadelphia Flyers, Elliotte Friedman shared Saturday that the Flyers were working to send defenseman Tony DeAngelo back to the Carolina Hurricanes, one year after being traded to Philly. The trade is set to be completed by Sunday. It was widely believed that DeAngelo’s contractual demands led to his departure from Carolina, even though the organization was fond of the player and his contributions to the team.
