The last NHL team Ray Emery has played for - and, at this rate, likely will ever play for - is the Philadelphia Flyers. Picked up in 2013-14, he played 28 games for the Flyers, posting a .903 save percentage; he came back the following season for 2014-15, playing 31 games and dropping to a .894 save percentage.
And... that was that. The Flyers got Steve Mason, who is wonderful; then, this past off-season they picked up Michal Neuvirth, who is also wonderful.
Emery, meanwhile, has bounced around. He was on a PTO at the Tampa Bay Lightning's training camp, but was eventually released; he joined the Los Angeles Kings' AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign, on a PTO as well, and was also released.
