Can you believe we’re already wrapping up on yet another decade of Philadelphia Flyers hockey? I sure can’t. I’m still one of those people who think 2008 was, at most, five years ago. It’s crazy how fast time can fly when you don’t pay attention to it extensively.
Anyways, when it pertains to the Flyers, I think a lot of fans will look back on this decade as a mostly mediocre one. It undoubtedly started great, as the team made a Stanley Cup Finals run and eliminated the Pittsburgh Penguins in a hard-fought, first-round series in 2012.
