Raffl collapses on Flyers bench after hit to head

In a scary-looking scene early in the second period Saturday night against the Rangers, Flyers top-line left winger Michael Raffl collapsed on the bench and had to be helped to the locker room.

The Flyers would only call it an upper-body injury, but Raffl may have suffered a concussion.

On his previous shift, Raffl was pursuing Jaret Stoll and inadvertently skated into the Ranger forward's left elbow, which appeared to hit him in the head.

Raffl, who suffered a concussion last year, was replaced by Brayden Schenn on the top line.
