It was Scott Hartnell night at the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday evening. The Philadelphia Flyers’ former winger was honored as the team hosted the Nashville Predators.
Carter Hart made his second start of his career and dazzled in it, making 31 saves on 32 shots en route to a 2-1 victory. Claude Giroux paced the Flyers with his 12th goal of the season in the second period. The Flyers’ PK killed six penalties, despite putting themselves in a whole. The final minute was frantic, but Carter Hart stood tall and helped save the day for the Orange and Black.
