Coming off a 3-1 loss to their Metropolitan Division rival on Monday night, the Philadelphia Flyers will head to Nassau Coliseum to take on the New York Islanders in the second half of a back-to-back. Though wins and losses don’t really matter during the exhibition campaign, the Flyers will still hope to bounce-back and earn their first win of the 2019-20 preseason.
Carter Hart will receive the start from Head Coach Alain Vigneault and oppose Thomas Griess in-net. Greiss posted a .2.28 Goals Against Average, and a .927 save percentage in 43 regular-season games with the Isles in 2018-19 and, like Hart, will be making his preseason debut.
