One day removed from earning their first win of 2019 and snapping an eight game losing streak, the Philadelphia Flyers announced on Friday that they have traded Jordan Weal to the Arizona Coyotes for defenseman Jacob Graves and a sixth round pick.
Weal had nine points in 28 games and found himself in and out of the lineup due to inconsistencies in the scoring department. He was very solid in terms of puck possession, though, ranking fifth on the team in Corsi-For percentage among players who have seen more than ten games this year at even-strength with 54.
