It seems like the Philadelphia Flyers are battening down the hatches when it comes to their defensive system as they’ve selected their second defenseman of the draft in Ronald Attard. Attard went undrafted in the previous two years but was finally picked in the third round in 2019 for a good reason.
The 6’3, 207-pound right-handed shooting blue-liner had a massive year in the United States Hockey League this past season. After scoring just five and 15 points in his first two years in the league, Attard burst onto the scene as Captain of the Tri-City Storm.
