Well, even in a miraculous comeback victory, the Philadelphia Flyers still found a way to walk away with some bad news. After having a puck deflect off of his hand during the 7-4 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets, Head Coach Alain Vigneault confirmed that forward Scott Laughton is expected to be sidelined for four weeks with a broken finger. Vigneault also said that Tyler Pitlick will replace him in the lineup against the New York Islanders on Sunday.
Any news of an injury is obviously unfortunate, but this especially hurts given how well Laughton’s played to begin the season.
