Although the Philadelphia Flyers have struggled through most of this 2018-19 campaign, a couple of players on the roster have consistently shined with their play on-the-ice, with one of them being none other than Scott Laughton. I mentioned in these two articles about Laughton’s improvements earlier in the year and he’s continued to do so now 48 games in.
The 2012 first round pick has 19 points (7 Goals, 12 Assists) on the season, which is just two points shy from his career high of 21. Barring he falls off a cliff in the scoring department in the final 34 contests, Laughton will more than likely break that total, possibly by five points or more.
