It looks like the Philadelphia Flyers have added a new name to Alain Vigneault’s coaching staff as they reportedly will announce the hiring of Michel Therrien in the next couple of days. Therrien has plenty of experience in the coaching department, leading the Pittsburgh Penguins and Montreal Canadiens bench in a 12-year span before finding himself without a job in the middle of the 2016-17 season.
Vigneault has always liked bringing in a guy with previous NHL Head Coaching experience to his staff, as he hired Lindy Ruff during his time with the New York Rangers and Rick Bowness with the Vancouver Canucks.
