Oskar Lindblom had somewhat of a slow start to his 2018-19 campaign, scoring just two points in the Philadelphia Flyers first 11 games. A west-coast road trip would revitalize the Swedish forward, where he posted back-to-back multi-point performances and rode a four-game point streak.
Lindblom, then, saw his ice-time decrease more and more as the season rolled on, to the question of many Flyers fans, eventually getting demoted to the fourth line by former Head Coach Dave Hakstol. It wasn’t until Hakstol’s firing that Lindblom’s ice-time finally picked up and his production rose along with it.
