Michal Neuvirth, once again, just couldn’t stay on the ice for the Philadelphia Flyers this past season. He played in a mere seven games with the team, and his statistics were even worse than his durability. The 11-year NHL net-minder posted a 4.27 Goals Against Average with a .859 save percentage. He never looked entirely comfortable in any of the seven contests he played in, and it was evident that the lower-body injury he was dealing with was impacting his play between the crease.
The thing about Neuvirth is he’s not bad when he’s healthy, but that’s the issue, he can never seem to stay that way.
