Justin Bailey began his 2018-19 campaign in the Buffalo Sabres organization, playing in the AHL with the Rochester Americans with some decent success. He posted 20 points (9 Goals, 11 Assists) in 37 games with the club. It wasn’t until Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher acquired his services in a one-for-one deal involving Taylor Leier in the middle of January that he found himself in an Orange and Black Uniform.
The bulky 6’4 winger had an excellent debut with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, scoring seven points (5 Goals, 2 Assists) in ten games, subsequently earning himself a call-up to the Flyers roster.
