There is no hiding the fact that Ivan Provorov wasn’t his usual self for the Philadelphia Flyers this past season. He saw his point total drop from 41 in 2017-18 to 26 in 2018-19 and just wasn’t able to match the goal-scoring production from that year, either.
Provorov struggled on the defensive end, as well. He had the fifth lowest Goals-For percentage while surrendering the most Goals, expected Goals, Scoring Chances, High Danger Chances, and High Danger Goals-Against among Flyers skaters who have played at least 500 minutes of Time on Ice, according to NaturalStatTrick.
