A Philadelphia Flyers Fourth Round Selection in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Maxim Sushko quietly had himself a satisfactory 2018-19 campaign in the OHL. The six-foot, 185-pound right wing prospect netted 51 points (18 Goals, 33 Assists) in 62 games with the Owen Sound Attack.
While his scoring total dipped nine points compared to 2017-18, that didn’t stop Sushko from continuing to perform well at times in the playoffs. Prior to getting eliminated by the Morgan Frost-led Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds in the first round, Sushko scored four points (2 Goals, 2 Assists) in five games.
