Hagg has played in 190 games in his AHL career scoring 49 points, adding 136 penalty minutes.
A Uppsala, Sweden native Hagg left home at age 18 to pursue his goal of playing for the Philadelphia Flyers after being selected by the organization in 2013.
A two-way defenseman. Hägg is capable of playing a pure defensive role, logging big minutes on the penalty kill, as well as contributing offensively and being valuable in power play situations.
