The Flyers were hit were some tough injury news this evening. Defensemen Philippe Myers will miss the next four weeks with a fractured patella in his right knee.
Four weeks from tonight would put Myers at April 7th. That’s three days after the Flyers regular season finale against Buffalo. So Myers is likely to miss at least the rest of the regular season.
The injury stemmed when Myers blocked a shot against the Sabres on Saturday night. He headed directly to the locker room, but would end up returning for a few shifts. He took part in practice yesterday, but ended up leaving early.
