Try to contain your excitement, but the Philadelphia Flyers signed a player who had 4 points and was -7 last season for a bottom-dwelling club. I know it was hard, but most Flyers fans managed to hold it together, and didn’t pay much attention to the signing of Boyd Gordon.
Such is the life of a 4th line and penalty killing player. Despite being a former first round pick and nearing 700 NHL games played, Gordon is now in his 30s and provides basically no offense. It raises the question, why should anyone care about adding him to your team?
