The Philadelphia Flyers announced Thursday evening that center Nolan Patrick with be out of action for 7-10 days with a upper-body injury. Patrick left Wednesday nights game towards the end of the first period, and did not return to action.
Patrick was just starting to find his groove for the Flyers, too. He was one of the few bright spots in the blowout loss against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, and looked good to start Wednesday’s win against Ottawa. He had a scoring chance and a 100 Corsi-For percentage in just two minutes of time on ice, according to Naturalstattrick.
