Sitting seven points out of an Eastern Conference Wild Card spot at the time this article was written, it’s safe to say that, barring an absolute miracle, the Philadelphia Flyers will miss the postseason this year. They made a push, but the hill’s just too steep to climb back up at this point in the season.
With that being said, the future is still bright with this Flyers team. The farm system is stocked full of promising talent thanks to former General Manager Ron Hextall and I’m going to look at how two of the most prominent of the bunch have continued to look through their 2018-19 campaigns.
