Just a week after Corban Knight signed a deal with Barys Nur-Sultan to play in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), another now-former Philadelphia Flyers forward will also head over to Russia to play the sport of hockey. Jori Lehtera, who was acquired from the St. Louis Blues in a package for Brayden Schenn, has reportedly signed a contract with SKA St. Petersburg. Like Knight, it seems that Lehtera knew he wouldn’t receive an NHL or AHL deal that was up to his standards and opted for KHL action instead.
