After winning the J. Ross Robertson Cup just over a week ago, Philadelphia Flyers forward prospect Isaac Ratcliffe and the Guelph Storm kicked off their 2019 Memorial Cup run this past Saturday going against the QMJHL Champions in the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. The Storm came into the tournament looking for their first Memorial Cup in team history and started their cup chase on a good note.
Guelph defeated the Huskies by a score of 5-2 following a 1-0 deficit early on in the first period. Ratcliffe had a nice assist on a 2-on-2 break that completely broke the game open and also made a great play that almost led in a highlight reel goal.
