The Philadelphia Flyers had a surplus of players that had disappointing years in 2014-15. The biggest ones being Vincent Lecavalier, R.J. Umberger, Matt Read and Andrew MacDonald.
The lack of production from those players played a big role as to why the Flyers missed the playoffs last year. For the 2015-16 season, Philadelphia needs comeback years from all or at least most of that group, but the player most likely to bounce back could be R.J. Umberger.
The 33-year-old forward was acquired last summer in a lopsided value trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets for fan favorite Scott Hartnell.
