Get ready to see yet another new face in-net, Philadelphia Flyers fans, because the team announced on Friday that they have claimed goaltender Mike McKenna off of waivers from the Vancouver Canucks.
While he didn’t play a single minute in aa Canucks uniform, McKenna had a below-average performance during his brief stint with the Ottawa Senators this season. He had a 1-4-1 record, with a 3.96 Goals Against Average, and a .897 save percentage. He struggled mightily in his last contest with the club, making just 33 saves on 38 shots on December 28th.
