The Philadelphia Flyers are lucky to have a captain like Claude Giroux. He’s grown with the team since he was drafted 22nd overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. Giroux is the 19th captain of the Flyers and his leadership has helped to push the Flyers’ team to new levels. He is the Flyers lone representative in the 2016 All-Star Game that takes place on January 30-31st in Nashville, Tennessee. Giroux takes the ice as part of a roster of participants who will be part of the NHL Skills competition Saturday night. There is no doubt that Giroux is hoping to make the Flyers nation proud and show that the City of Brotherly Love has what it takes to create top-level players.
