Peyton Krebs is a 19-year-old forward prospect who, like Matthew Boldy, plays well in all three zones of the ice. He’s able to break up opposing offensive chances with an excellent stick position and possesses the speed to close out on the back-check as well.
Krebs finished his 2018-19 Western Hockey League campaign scoring 68 points (19 Goals, 49 Assists) in 64 games as captain of the Kootenay Ice. While the Ice finished second last in the WHL with a mere 13 wins in 68 contests, Krebs still shined on most nights with his junior league club.
