Competitive, or at least semi-competitive, hockey is finally here, yall! The 2019 IIHF World Championships will get underway on Friday, May 10th at 10 am EST, and the Philadelphia Flyers have their fair share of guys playing over in Slovakia.
Sean Couturier and Carter Hart will represent Team Canada along with new Flyers Head Coach Alain Vigneault, who will lead the Canadian bench that also includes Dave Hakstol as an assistant. Couturier will more than likely receive top line minutes, especially with John Tavares leaving the tournament due to injury, while Hart will begin the first game serving as Matt Murray’s backup.
