Brian Elliott didn’t have a great beginning to the 2018-19 season for the Philadelphia Flyers, posting a sub-.900 save percentage in nine games played through the month of October. The journeyman goaltender, then, followed it up with a more than impressive November, recording a 1.35 Goals Against Average with a .954 save percentage. All was going well for Elliott at that point until a lower-body injury sidelined him for just over three months. He had a solid return in February, but ended up catching the injury bug again and couldn’t find the same success through the remainder of the season.
