For the first time since his bone cancer diagnosis in December, Oskar Lindblom is stunningly back on the ice. In a video that made every hockey fan tear up, the 23-year-old Swede can be seen skating at the team’s practice facility and already somehow looks like he’s never even so much as missed a day, let alone battled something so life-changing.
The team have reportedly stated that Lindblom won’t play in any live-games when the playoffs arrive, but that’s not exactly anything out of the ordinary. Frankly, just seeing Lindblom smiling down at Vorhees and skating with his teammates is such a touching moment and one many didn’t think we’d see for a while, that the thought of a return to live-game action is truly an afterthought.
