Nolan Patrick, the former Philadelphia Flyers center, has retired from playing professional hockey, according to one single post on social media that might have spilled the beans.
In an Instagram post from The Power Play, a hockey coaching and mentorship company founded by former NHLer Jayce Hawryluk, Patrick was named as a skills specialist, mentor, and video coach. Most importantly, though, under his list of credentials was “retired pro with significant NHL experience.” If the 25-year-old wanted to continue playing — or was even able to — we highly doubt that he would be available to coach and mentor younger players as a side job.
