The NHL trade deadline is a mere 12 days away, and already we have seen teams be aggressive and make moves. Division rivals, the Pittsburgh Penguins, made a big splash when they traded for Jason Zucker of the Minnesota Wild, giving up Alex Galchenyuk, defense prospect Calen Addison, and a 2020 first round pick. That’s a big move that will almost certainly make the race for those top three spots in the Metropolitan Division very interesting.
