Well, if you were hoping for the Flyers to do something on draft day, you got your wish, technically: The Flyers dealt their first-round pick (along with another second-round pick and defenseman Robert Hagg) to Buffalo for defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen earlier today. We’ll have more thoughts on that move in the coming days, weeks, and (gulp) months.
In the meantime, though, that move does mean that tonight is probably going to be a pretty uneventful night for the Flyers. Probably. Chuck Fletcher did suggest during today’s media availability that he’s probably not going to have any more moves coming today, and the Flyers, of course, no longer have their pick tonight.
