Goalie Michal Neuvirth, coming off a strong relief perfromance in Thursday's shootout win over Vancouver, will be in the nets Saturday afternoon in Boston, based on the strong hints dropped by coach Dave Hakstol after Friday's practice.
In additon, defenseman Mark Streit, who hasn't played since Dec. 11 because of an injured left shoulder, will probably return to the lineup Saturday.
The Flyers put Boyd Gordon on waivers to clear cap space for Streit's return
Instead of waiving Gordon, the Flyers could have sent Roman Lyubimov to the Phantoms because he does not have to clear waivers.
