Michal Neuvirth replacing Steve Mason as Flyers face Blue Jackets

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Michal Neuvirth (remember him?) will be back in the net for the Flyers when they face Columbus on Saturday afternoon at Nationwide Arena at 2 p.m.

Steve Mason had started the last seven games — and 11 of the last 12. In games against his former team, Columbus, Mason is 3-4-4 with a 2.62 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

Neuvirth is 2-0 in his career against Columbus and has a 2.45 GAA and .929 save percentage. He will make his first start since the Flyers dropped a critical 4-2 decision (including an empty-netter) in Toronto on March 9.
