A highly personal and emotional development sidelined Steve Mason the last two games, but it sounds as if the Flyers goalie will return to action Tuesday against Dallas.
Mason conceded that the family medical emergency affected him in his last game - he allowed four goals in the first 6 minutes, 46 seconds and was pulled from an eventual 7-1 loss in Florida last Saturday. On Friday, he returned to his first full practice since Sunday.
"It's definitely nice to be back around the team setting here, and start focusing on hockey again," said Mason, smiling softly but speaking in a somber tone, after Friday's practice in Voorhees.
