The time’s almost here, folks! The NHL season’s getting into full swing, and that means the start of the AHL season is right around the corner.
The AHL dropped their schedule today, and the Phantoms are set to kick off their season on February 6 against Hershey This season is, as expected, going to look a little different, so here’s quick rundown on some of the changes.
The Phantoms will be playing a 38-game season, playing in the newly aligned North Division, which is comprised of Rochester, Hershey, Utica, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Syracuse, and Binghamton. However, this season, they will only be playing against Hershey (14 times), Binghamton (14 times), and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (10 times) So, uh, we’re going to be getting very familiar with these few teams.
