The NHL has made the speculation official — The Philadelphia Flyers and Boston Bruins, as well as the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights, will meet at Lake Tahoe. This should be quite a sight.
It all starts February 20th, with the Avalanche and Golden Knights hitting the lake (not literally, okay?) before the Flyers and Bruins have their turn on the 21st. It’ll be the league's first “natural” game, away from football and baseball venues.
According to the release, which you can read in full here, the teams will be wearing their Reverse Retro get-ups for the games, meaning that we will not be getting another new Flyers jersey for the event.
