The 2019-20 season hasn’t even officially started yet, and a Philadelphia Flyers player has already gone down with an injury. The team announced on Monday that Tyler Pitlick, who was acquired from the Stars for Ryan Hartman over the summer, suffered a left wrist injury while working out in in the offseason and had surgery to repair it last week. Pitlick will also begin rehab on September 2nd and is expected to miss about four weeks.
Injuries are never a good thing, and I wish Pitlick a speedy recovery, but him being sidelined could open up another spot for a prospect to win a position on the Flyers roster out of camp.
