Here's the Flyers salary cap situation after the Michael Del Zotto signing

Michael Del Zotto signed a two-year deal with the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday. It will pay him an average of $3.875 million against the salary cap in each of those years.

So it's time to update our salary cap chart. With the move, the Flyers have $1.2 million in available cap space, according to our estimate.

In that number, we're excluding the one-way salary of defenseman Brandon Manning. While he has a one-way contract, the chances of him making the team are still relatively slim, and he could easily wind up with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms at the end of training camp considering the Flyers have seven other defensemen under contract.
