Shayne Gostisbehere is back in the Flyers' lineup.
After a three-game benching, the second-year defenseman will be paired with Mark Streit on Thursday night against the visiting New York Islanders.
"I just want him to come in and play hard without the puck, and play confidently with the puck," coach Dave Hakstol said in his pregame news conference.
It is the first time Gostisbehere and Streit have been paired this season. Hakstol said he didn't want to break up the other defensive units: Ivan Provorov and Andrew MacDonald, and Radko Gudas and Brandon Manning.
"The other two pairs have played very well together," Hakstol said.
