In hindsight, Los Angeles Kings captain Dustin Brown said, he and his teammates wore blinders in the Mike Richards situation.
"I guess the first instincts are his play dipped, but you don't equate that to being on drugs," Brown said after the Kings' practiced Tuesday's morning at the Wells Fargo Center, preparing for tonight's game against the Flyers. "Guys go through spurts in their careers where they're not on top of their game and I think collectively we probably all could have [done something to help him]."
Brown said it's "easy to say now, right? But we had 20 guys in there and I think all of us were surprised.
