The Flyers released their schedule Thursday. They will play their first home game Oct. 12 against Jaromir Jagr and the Florida Panthers.
On Oct. 14, the Flyers will host the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, who will make their lone Wells Fargo Center appearance of the season.
