Fresh off of a 5-4 shootout win over the Ottawa Senators on the road in their last contest, the Philadelphia Flyers will head home to play host to the New York Rangers in their final game before a five-day Christmas break. This will be the first meeting of four, as is customary with an in-division opponent, between the two sides and the Flyers will hope to kick off the season series with a W over their Metropolitan rivals. Philly will also aim for their fourth-straight win, which would tie for the second-longest winning streak for the team this year.
