After breaking a four-game losing streak with a win over the Washington Capitals on Wednesday, the Philadelphia Flyers will face some more stiff competition as they play host to the Tampa Bay Lightning at the Wells Fargo Center. This will mark the first of three meetings between the Eastern Conference clubs, with the next two coming in February and March at the Amalie Arena. The Flyers will hope to start the season-series off with a win while trying to break a five-game losing skid against Tampa dating back to 2017-18.
So, I don’t know if you’ve heard this, but the Lightning have been preeeettttyyyy good as of late.
