Following a 4-3 overtime loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in their last contest, the Philadelphia Flyers will head home and play host to the Colorado Avalanche in the second half of a back-to-back. Colorado was able to take the first meeting between these two squads earlier this year, defeating the Flyers by a score of 3-1 back in December. Philadelphia will hope to avoid being swept by the Avs for the second straight season and get their first W over the Central Division squad since March of 2018.
One way they can do so is by playing a steady two-way game given how good the Avalanche have been in both zones this year.
