The Flyers and the rest of the NHL teams unveiled new jerseys Wednesday, as adidas officially took over as the league’s official jersey manufacturer.
There isn’t all that much different visually about the new sweaters, save for some changes to the white striping on the sleeves. And that’s the case for a lot of teams in the league, because there’s no good reason to change the classic looks that so many teams wear. But there are some major changes to the jersey material, which is lighter and more breathable than what’s been used in the past by other manufacturers.
